Automotive Deal Execution

Two dealers. One client. Every variable controlled.

A client came to Vantara wanting to upgrade their vehicle but facing a significant trade-in shortfall across two competing dealerships, with different pricing structures, different dealer incentives, and different finance scenarios on the table.

Vantara structured both options side-by-side: trade-in positions across both dealers were mapped, R60 000 in combined dealer support was extracted from one transaction, and multiple balloon scenarios were modelled across both vehicles.

The client made a fully informed decision, with no pressure, no information asymmetry, and a materially stronger financial position than they would have reached alone.

A commercial property opportunity in Durban was identified with a verified gross yield of 11.24%, above the market average for the node, and an accessible equity entry point for a private investor.

Vantara produced a full investment and feasibility report: area study, full financial modelling, five-year scenario projections across bear, base, and bull cases, a complete risk register with mitigants, and an SPV equity structure with a priority return clause protecting the investor's capital.

What does it cost to use Vantara for a vehicle acquisition?

Nothing additional out of your pocket. You give us your budget and your criteria. We source the right vehicle, negotiate the deal, and manage the transaction to delivery. Our fee is built into the deal, you pay within your budget, not on top of it. You never pay more than you would have going alone. In most cases, you pay less.

How do you find the vehicles you source?

We use every available channel: dealer networks, online platforms, private listings. What we bring that the platforms don't is over half a decade of insider experience in the automotive industry. We've worked every department of a dealership: sales, stock control, workshop, finance, reconditioning, and vehicle listings. We know what a car is actually worth, what dealers don't disclose, and where the margin is. That knowledge isn't on Autotrader. We are.

What do I actually have to do as the buyer?

Tell us your budget, your requirements, and what matters to you. From there, we handle everything: sourcing, shortlisting, negotiating, finance structuring if needed, and delivery coordination. The only time you need to move is to sign the deal and take delivery. Everything else is handled.

Is the property acquisition side active?

Yes, and it operates at a different level to standard property brokerage. We identify high-yield opportunities, conduct full investment and feasibility analysis, and structure deals for private investors. We don't list properties. We package deals. If you are looking to deploy capital into property and want institutional-grade analysis before you commit, that is what we do.

What is strategic deal structuring and how do I know if it applies to me?

Some opportunities don't sit neatly in a category. A supply arrangement, a business transaction, a partnership that needs structuring, if there is a deal to be made and you need someone who can see the structure, make the right connections, and execute cleanly, that is what strategic brokerage covers.
